During a residency on the theme of the medieval garden ‘hortus conclusus’ I developed a project about the fantastic creatures inhabiting the garden, exhibited at Fondazione Lac o Lemon. The project included ephemeral sculptures with Opuntia plants, mixed media paintings, photography and a sound art piece where other artists in residence sing their ‘fantastic creature’ chants together:
